Software Engineer / Omnitech
Chad Tschappat has been in the IT industry for over 20 years.
The first 10 years, or so, of his IT existence was in the Server and Network Infrastructure space.
The past 10 years, or so, have been primarily software but he has jumped back into the server and infrastructure space from time to time and thoroughly enjoy DevOps/DevSecOps.
Application security can no longer be an after-thought in the application development process.
The OWASP Top Ten has not really changed much over the last few iterations. Why?
There are a number of things we can do to ensure the applications we develop and deploy are more secure and we can do them in a way, and at a time in the development process that helps to ensure they are done more efficiently, are less expensive, and actually get done.
Plan to hear about the items on the OWASP Top Ten:
- What they are and mean
- How to protect against them (mostly in .Net)
